Conquest International received confirmation in 2006 that its vehicle, the Conquest 1200, had secured approval from Motability for inclusion in its Hire Purchase Scheme. This means that qualifying disabled drivers in the UK can use their disability allowance as part payment when purchasing a Conquest 1200 on a five-year contract.* *Motability’s Hire Purchase Scheme works by converting a qualifying person’s higher rate allowance payments for periods of up to five years into an up-front lump sum that can be used towards purchasing a Motability-approved vehicle. Under this scheme the Conquest is available through Motability’s Hire Purchase agreement on a five-year contract. For example, a lump sum of approximately £11,500 is provided by Motability, which leaves a balance of approximately £18,500.
